The ITS World Congress is a global event that brings together industry leaders, policymakers, and researchers to discuss and showcase the latest advancements in intelligent transportation systems (ITS). The Congress provides a platform for experts to exchange ideas and collaborate on solutions to improve transportation safety, sustainability, and efficiency.

Latest issue of  “automotiveIT” once again ranks T-Systems as the #1 IT service provider in the automotive industry in Germany for the 13th time in a row. Together with Catena-X and GAIA-X, T-Systems is bringing to life Compliance-as-a-Service solution called GAIA-X Digital Clearing House. This service is utilized to verify the trustworthiness of participants within the Catena-X data ecosystem and beyond. This process allows the Catena-X network to automate the verification of legal entities, allowing participants in the Catena-X network to prove their trustworthiness within the data ecosystem.

It is taking longer and longer to get from Point A to point B. One possible solution would be to link public transportation with micromobility, such as electric scooters and on-demand shuttles (integrated public transport). As of 2021, micromobility has successfully established itself, but integrated, intermodal offerings are still not in sight, and one reason could be a lack of user value. So, the question is: are there user value problems associated with integrated public transport? Our investigation resorts to utilizing simulations. Scenarios are tested in the city of Hamburg. To designing successful integrated public transport solutions, results would be crucial.

Dataspace ... is peer-to-peer data communications - not storage - and with data sovereignty protection so that you maintain control of the rights to your data at all times will shift from Big Data (high cost) to Better Data (higher returns) - providing the right data with relevant information content, quality and quantity (think: food labels for ingredients and nutritional value) is a just-in-time, on demand data supply chain or as a product to turbo-charge old apps or new and super-apps based on cross-organizational/ sectoral data chains 

How do I manage and share my data, how can I analyze it? These are not new questions. But how can I accomplish these tasks under the assumption that I retain full sovereignty over this data on the one hand, but on the other hand build dataspaces on a federated architecture approach?

What is going on: The Federal Chancellor speaks of dataspaces. Instead of “cash for clunkers” as an aid for the automotive industry there will be a dataspace now (Delhaes 2020, Benrath & Löhr 2021). So, what exactly is a dataspace? We’re all familiar with data storage.
